Black Star (ブラックスター,Burakku Sutā?) is a Module for Kagamine Rin.
The Module's attire consists of a black bow on top of Rin's front hair, hairpins (3 on her bangs and 3 on her right hair fringe), circular headphones with glowing turquoise lights and black straps with yellow trimming and a silver button on one side each, a grey and black vest with a silver button that closes on the left side on a triangular flap, matching short shorts held by a yellow belt, a short yellow tie, black fingerless gloves with small blue screens that displays Rin's name, long black leg warmers with yellow trimming and tiny circular glowing lights on the knees, and short black boots with yellow soles. Additionally, a small portion of Rin's bangs is hanging in between her eyes while the rest of her bangs are tucked into her left hair fringe and her hair fringes become spiky.
Game appearances[]
The Module first appeared in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Extend where it is unlocked after clearing "Solitude's End" on Normal difficulty and can be bought for 20000 DIVA Points. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade where it was added to the game on 14 September 2012 and can be bought for 250 VP. The Module also made an appearance in Miku Flick/02 where it was featured in the PV for "Solitude's End". The Module was featured once again in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd as downloadable content that can be purchased from the PlayStation Store.
Black Star was featured once again in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X where it can be randomly unlocked by clearing the Chance Time on any song in Cloud Requests and fully clearing the song. It is attributed with the Aura Cool and its gameplay effect is "60-Combo Rate Up". In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, the Module is included in the Future Sound song pack and can be bought for 750 VP. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix in the Song Pack 2 DLC. Its appearance was modified to include the ToonShader graphics.
An illustration for the Module was originally entered into SEGA and piapro's collaboration contest to be featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd. While the Module was not one of the winning entries, it would eventually debut in Project DIVA Extend.
