Concert Editor (ライブエディット Raibu Editto?, lit. Live Edit) is an editing feature that first appeared in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X. It replaces the traditional Edit Mode feature from previous games, combining it with the Live Mode feature from the Project DIVA F series.
Function[]
Upon selecting Concert Editor from the game's sub menu, it will direct the player to another menu with two available options "Concert Editor" and "View Concert". Selecting "Concert Editor" will direct the player to choose their Edit Data, as well the song, character/Module, and stage, and then a confirmation window that will lead them to the edit interface. Selecting "View Concert" will let the player simply view the PV they have created. For the PlayStation 4 version, it is also possible to view the Edit PV through the PlayStation VR headset that became available to use following an update patch for Project DIVA X.
The interface is much more streamlined, having only four available functions to place markers on: Stage Effects, Spot Effects, Lighting, and Camera. Stage Effects causes certain changes to occur on the stage of the player's choosing, Spot Effects causes the stage's particles to trigger as well as having the ability to trigger a Module Drop event to occur if the player already has the option enabled. Lighting will simply change the stage lights and Camera gives the option to change the camera angle to any preset angle, whether static or moving. When starting a new edit, the camera will always be set to be up close to the Vocal 1 character. The Camera function will also give the opportunity to switch to other character slots if the song is a duet or trio. As with Edit Mode, there is a capacity bar on the top right corner of the screen that indicates to players how many effects can be applied to the PV. If the capacity reaches MAX no more effects can be added.
One noticable aspect of Concert Editor mode is that some songs that were cut down from their original length for regular gameplay have their length retained, featuring choreography that would not be seen in regular gameplay.
