— Website description[1]

Hard Rock (ハードロック Hādo Rokku?) is a Module for Megurine Luka. It was one of the winning Modules in SEGA and piapro's collaboration contest for Project DIVA 2nd.[2]

Description[]

The Module's attire consists of a black opened-jacket with opened cuffs, a blue handkerchief tied to the left arm, a black crop-top with see-through fabric on the center chest area, a black choker, a black skirt with small triangular openings on the bottom sides held by a black belt with a belt chain that is shaped like an infinity (∞) symbol, dark stockings held with a garter, and black boots with silver buckles.

Hard Rock's contest entry art and stock image from Project DIVA 2nd feature Luka wearing blue lipstick. This does not appear in-game in Project DIVA 2nd or in any of the Module's subsequent appearances.

Game appearances[]

The Module first appears in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd where it can be unlocked by clearing "Double Lariat" on Normal difficulty and can be bought for 15000 DIVA Points. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade where it was added to the game on 31 January 2011 and can be bought for 200 VP. It returns in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Extend where it can be unlocked by clearing a random song on Normal difficulty and has the same price from Project DIVA 2nd (or if the Module is already obtained in Project DIVA 2nd, it can be imported over to Project DIVA Extend at no cost).

Hard Rock was featured once again in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd where it can be unlocked by clearing "Double Lariat" once on any difficulty and can be bought for 20000 DIVA Points. The Module also returned in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X where it can be obtained as a Rare Module Drop by clearing a "Challenge" request in Cloud Requests. It is attributed with the Aura Cool, gives a +20% Voltage bonus when used in a song attributed with the same Aura, and its gameplay effect is "100-Combo Rate Up Lv. 5". In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, the Module is included in the Colorful Tone song pack and can be bought for 600 VP. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix, with its appearance modified to include the ToonShader graphics.

Other media appearances[]

The Module appeared in the Saigo no Miku no Hi Kanshasai concert where it was used for the song "Just Be Friends". It would later appear in the Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 10th Anniversary concert where it was used for the song "Someday'z Coming”.
