Designed as a counterpart for "Megurine Luka Blossom", this module has also been brought back and updated. Its vibrant colors and cute design evoke the intricate wings of a beautiful butterfly. — Website description[1]
Hatsune Miku Butterfly (初音ミク 蝶,Hatsune Miku Chō?) is a Module for Hatsune Miku.
The Module's attire consists of a teal jacket with turquoise and gold trimmings and small gold butterfly designs, a pink obi sash tied around her waist, a frilled dark and light green skirt, long black socks, and black shoes with dark and light teal cuffs and dark golden soles with a teal stripe running through each sole. Additionally, Miku's twin-tails are held with hairbands that match her jacket with magenta flaps featuring butterfly designs sticking to them, as well as a pink corsage on the left side of her hair, and a red tattoo codenamed "01 VOCALOID" on the left side of her chest.
Game appearances[]
The Module first appears in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd where it can be unlocked by clearing "Magnet" on Normal difficulty and can be bought for 15000 DIVA Points. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade where it was added to the game on 16 November 2010 and can be bought for 100 VP. It returns in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Extend where it can be unlocked by clearing a random song on Normal difficulty and has the same price from Project DIVA 2nd (or if the Module is already obtained in Project DIVA 2nd, it can be imported over to Project DIVA Extend at no cost). The Module also made an appearance in Miku Flick/02 where it was featured in the PVs for "Magnet" and "Jugemu Sequencer". Hatsune Miku Butterfly also appeared in Hatsune Miku: Live Stage Producer as an available Module for the player to have Miku wear in their club.
The Module was featured once again in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd where it can be unlocked by clearing "Akatsuki Arrival" on Hard difficulty and can be bought for 25000 DIVA Points. The Module also returned in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X where it can be randomly unlocked by clearing the Chance Time on any song in Cloud Requests and fully clearing the song. It is attributed with the Aura Elegant, gives a +20% Voltage bonus when used in a song attributed with the same Aura, and its gameplay effect is "Bad Voltage". In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, the Module is included in both the Future Sound and Colorful Tone song packs and can be bought for 300 VP. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix, with its appearance modified to include the ToonShader graphics.
This is one of two Miku Modules specifically designed to compliment a winning Module from SEGA and piapro's collaboration contest for Project DIVA 2nd, the complimented Module in this case being Megurine Luka Blossom. The other Miku Module is Hatsune Miku Cute.
