Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2013 (Hatsune Miku マジカルミライ?) was a live exhibition event that took place on 30 August 2013. It was the first of the "Magical Mirai" series of exhibition events and was held in celebration Hatsune Miku's sixth anniversary. It was held at Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan and was organized by Crypton Future Media, Inc., SEGA, Sony, niconico, TOKYO MX. 22 songs were performed during the mainshow, with 2 more songs acting as the encore. It is the first major event to utilize the Project DIVA F series models after being showcased at the Natsu no Owari no 39 Matsuri event.

The event was split into three different areas: "Magi Area" is where the live performance took place and also included a daytime "Under-18 Priority Concert" that allows families with kids to attend. "Cal Area" is a creators workshop area that allows attendees to craft illustrations and learn about music making. "Mirai Area" is a product exhibit that features many collaboration goods and purchasable merchandise. In addition to this, playable demos of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd, and Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone were also featured.

Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, and Megurine Luka, KAITO, and MEIKO all performed at the event, with a new band being featured.

A Module featuring Miku wearing a special T-shirt for the event alongside the rest of her default outfit was used for "Yumeyume".

Trivia[]

  • This was the only event to have Miku be voiced by her voice provider, Saki Fujita, rather than using her voicebank.
  • "2D Dream Fever", "Hello, Worker", "Erase or Zero", "Love-Hate", and Module Dimensional's appearances in this event predate their inclusion in Project DIVA F 2nd.
  • During the performance of "Love-Hate", one of Len's lyrics was slightly changed: from "sou da, sumu no wa Shoutou atari ga ii na♪" to "sou da, sumu nara Yokohama ga ii yo ne♪"
  • Choreography and audio of "Sweet Devil", "Cat Food", "Hello, Worker", "Erase or Zero", "Piano × Forte × Scandal", "Love-Hate", "Tokyo Teddy Bear", "glow", "Odds & Ends", and "Tell Your World" from this event were featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd as part of its AR/Live Mode. The modules that are used in the concert, as shown above, are used as recommended modules.
