— Website description[1]

Kitty Cat (にゃんこ Nyanko?, lit. Cat Girl) is a Module for Hatsune Miku. It was one of the winning Modules in SEGA and piapro's collaboration contest for the first Project DIVA game.[2]

Description[]

The Module's attire consists of a very pale grey collared shirt with a short red tie, a choker with a gold bell on it, black pants with brown suspenders and a belt with two pink paws and a grayish-violet fish, pale, light grayish olive cat designs on the knees, a black tail attached to the pants, paw-like shoes, black cat earmuffs, and large paw-like gloves on the hands. Additionally, Miku's twin-tails become shortened, which surpass her waistline.

Game appearances[]

The Module first appeared in the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA game where it can be unlocked by attaining a Standard result in "Rain With A Chance of Sweet*Drops" on Normal difficulty and clearing said song at least 5 times. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade and was also one of the first Modules in the initial version of the arcade game as with the other Modules previously featured in the first Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA game and can be bought for 50 VP. The Module returned in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd where it is unlocked after clearing "White Dove" on Hard difficulty and can be bought for 10000 DIVA Points (alternatively, should the player have obtained the Module already in the first game, it can be imported into Project DIVA 2nd at no cost). Kitty Cat appears again in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Extend where it is unlocked after clearing "NekoMimi Switch" on Easy difficulty and has the same price from Project DIVA 2nd (or if the Module is already obtained in Project DIVA 2nd, it can be imported over to Project DIVA Extend at no cost).

The Module also made an appearance in Hatsune Miku: Live Stage Producer as an available Module for the player to have Miku wear in their club. The Module also appeared in Miku Flick/02 where it was featured in the PV for "NekoMimi Switch". Kitty Cat was featured once again in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd where it can be unlocked after clearing "Kagerou Daze" 5 times on any difficulty and can be bought for 25000 DIVA Points. It also returned in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X where it can be obtained as a Rare Module Drop by clearing a "Hard/Extreme" or "Challenge" request in Cloud Requests. It is attributed with the Aura Quirky, gives a +20% Voltage bonus when used in a song attributed with the same Aura, and its gameplay effect is "Rate Up Plus Lv. 4". In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, the Module is included in the Future Sound song pack and can be bought for 150 VP. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix, with its appearance modified to include the ToonShader graphics.

Other media appearances[]

The module appeared in the Miku no Hi Kanshasai 39's Giving Day concert where it was used for the song "Beware of the Miku Miku Germs♪".
