"Lucid Dreaming" first appeared in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade where it was added to the game on 10 October 2013 and was one of the last songs included before the Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone update. In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, the song is included in the Colorful Tone song pack. The song makes a return in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix+ where it is included in the Extra Song Pack. It would also be included in the original Project DIVA MegaMix where it is featured in the Song Pack 18 DLC. Its PV was modified in the latter to include the ToonShader graphics, though its rhythm game charts from Project DIVA Arcade remain the same in Arcade Mode.
