MIKUNOPOLIS in LOS ANGELES was a live event that took place on 2 July 2011 and marked Hatsune Miku's first live event in the United States. It was held at the Peacock Theater (formerly known as the Nokia Theatre, then later known as the Microsoft Theater) during Anime Expo 2011 and was organized by Crypton Future Media, Inc., SEGA, and 5pb. Toyota Motor Sales, USA was the main sponsor for the event with Good Smile Company and COSPA co-sponsoring. The event was based on the Miku no Hi Kanshasai 39's Giving Day concert, but featured a few improvements over the original event.[1] 21 songs were performed during the mainshow, some songs being featured in a medley, with 2 more songs acting as the encore.

In addition to Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, and Megurine Luka also performed at the event. There was also a pre-show that featured performances from DANCEROID. The live event sold out 3,500 tickets, covering all available seating for the concert.[2]
