"Magical Sound Shower" is a Hatsune Miku song which is a remix of the song of the same name in Out Run, an arcade game developed by SEGA in 1986. The song was originally composed by Hiroshi Kawaguchi (HIRO), and was written and arranged by Kusemono/SWANTONE.

Game appearances[]

"Magical Sound Shower" first appeared in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade where it was one of the first songs added following the public release of the game. When the arcade game was updated to Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone, an Extra Extreme difficulty rhythm game chart for the song was added on 17 September 2014. The song also made an appearance in Miku Flick where it can be unlocked by clearing all songs on Normal difficulty or higher.

In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, "Magical Sound Shower" was included in the Colorful Tone song pack. The song makes a return in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix+ where it is included in the Extra Song Pack. It would also be included in the original Project DIVA MegaMix where it is featured in the Song Pack 17 DLC. Its PV modified in the latter to include the ToonShader graphics, though its rhythm game charts from Project DIVA Arcade remain the same in Arcade Mode.
