— Website description[1]

Magician (マジシャン Majishan?) is a Module for Hatsune Miku. It was one of the winning Modules in SEGA and piapro's collaboration contest for the first Project DIVA game.[2]

Description[]

The Module's attire consists of a black blazer, a frilled white dress-shirt and a black bow tie with a light teal jewel in the middle, legless black shorts, fishnet leggings, thigh-high black boots, white gloves, a black hat with a red stripe, a black and red bow that holds Miku's hair in a ponytail, and circular headphones with fuchsia trimmings.

Game appearances[]

The Module first appeared in the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA game where it can be unlocked by attaining a Standard result in "Miracle Paint" on Normal difficulty and having a Max Combo of at least 120 in said song. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade and was also one of the first Modules in the initial version of the arcade game as with the other Modules previously featured in the first Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA game and can be bought for 50 VP. The Module returned in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd where it is unlocked after clearing "Miracle Paint" on Normal difficulty and can be bought for 10000 DIVA Points (alternatively, should the player have obtained the Module already in the first game, it can be imported into Project DIVA 2nd at no cost). Magician appears again in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Extend where it is unlocked after clearing "To the End of Infinity" on Easy difficulty and has the same price from Project DIVA 2nd (or if the Module is already obtained in Project DIVA 2nd, it can be imported over to Project DIVA Extend at no cost).

The Module also made an appearance in Hatsune Miku: Live Stage Producer as an available Module for the player to have Miku wear in their club. Magician was featured once again in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd where it can be unlocked after clearing "Miracle Paint" once on any difficulty and can be bought for 20000 DIVA Points. It also returned in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X where it can be obtained as a Rare Module Drop by clearing the Chance Time in the song "Beginning Medley - Primary Colors" in Cloud Requests and fully clearing the song. It is attributed with the Aura Elegant, gives a +20% Voltage bonus when used in a song attributed with the same Aura, and its gameplay effect is "100-Combo Rate Up Lv. 3". In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, the Module is included in the Future Sound song pack and can be bought for 150 VP. Magician also returned in Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live with Project DIVA where it can worn by Miku when enough Voltage is gained during the performance of "Beginning Medley - Primary Colors" in "3rd Stage". A Module Card of the outfit can also be obtained by maxing out the Voltage gauge by the end of "3rd Stage". The player can have Miku wear the Module among others for her encore performance. The Module is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix, with its appearance modified to include the ToonShader graphics.

Other media appearances[]

The module appeared in the Miku no Hi Kanshasai 39's Giving Day concert where it was used for the song "Miracle Paint".

Trivia[]

  • Miku's ponytail, bow, and headphones match Yowane Haku's form, but in a different color and without an antennae on the headphones.
