Game appearances[]

"PIANO*GIRL" first appeared in Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai where it was available at the start of the game. Its PV was modified from its original version to include 3D functionality. The song would later be featured again in Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 and Project Mirai DX where it was unlocked after clearing "Kokoro". In Project Mirai DX, the song's 3D PV was replaced with a Nendoroid PV and its rhythm chart was altered. "PIANO*GIRL" (alongside its Project Mirai DX PV) is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone where it was added to the game on 18 October 2015.

In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, the song was included in the Colorful Tone song pack. It is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix in the Song Pack 6 DLC. Its PV was modified to include the ToonShader graphics for the chorus scenes, though its rhythm game charts from Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone remain the same in Arcade Mode.

Trivia[]

Despite the first Project Mirai and Mirai 2 using the original 2D PV, the PV goes through an edit from its original version during the bridge prior to the final pre-chorus. The original PV featured a cutaway of OSTER project playing on the piano while the song's credits are being displayed. In both Project Mirai games, the scene is replaced with a cutaway of Miku driving on a circular piano road with the town in the background while the credits are displayed.
