"Suna no Wakusei" first appeared in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone DX where it is available at the start of the game and is classified as a Colorful Tone song. The song also appears in the digital version as downloadble content in the "EXTRA Encore Pack". The song makes another appearance in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone, where it was added to the game on 13 December 2017.
"Suna no Wakusei" is also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix, retaining the same rhythm game it has in Project DIVA Future Tone in Arcade Mode.
